I think the ability to lock the ignition with the rear light on is a European thing. When we lived in Germany, it was common to park cars straddling the gutter with only the streetside parking lights on. Guess they figured pedestrians could figure out how to miss the building side OK. I looked at the wiring diagram and disconnecting the wire to the light would render it inop during normal operation as it is connected to the green wire then. Maybe one of Bryan's key relocater to the center of the bars will make it visible enough it would be hard to leave in that position. Max
